Delicious food with great service. From the hostess, to the server, to the bartender everyone was so nice and accomodating. They dont take reservations so we put our name down and waited an hour for our table (during which time we just bar hopped in the area). The food was delicious with everyone in our party liking what they ordered. The moscow mules are great as well. They make their own ginger beer so it is slightly sweeter than a standard moscow mule you would order elsewhere.
Recommendations: fried green tomatoes, farmers table (surprisingly delicious), moscow mule -

Imagine this scenario. A party of 10 out for "girls night". They enjoy their meal, then want 10 separate checks. We walk thru the door doing this fiasco going down. The restaurant had just gotten slammed. Kitchen and front of the house are both in the weeds. Total mess. All restaurants can have a bad night. It was Rarebit's turn tonight.
After about a 15-20 minute wait, our very apologetic server politely informed us of the approximately 6 menu items that were no longer available. To compensate us for our lengthy wait and the numerous items not available, they comped us each a cocktail .
The reasonably priced menu yielded reasonably good food. Nothing more. Nothing less. If I were to return, it would be for the down to earth, friendliness of the staff. The 4 stars were for their honesty and sincerity. -

As much as I love good food, I love great service even more. The team at the Rarebit was incredibly attentive and friendly without hovering. It was a busy night but we need felt like we weren't being taken care of.
The food was so good. We started with the fried green tomatoes and they were hot and flavorful. I had the shrimp and grits and my friend had the fish and chips. Everything was delicious! King Street is saturated with restaurants but this one was a standout. -

Let me start by saying that their Moscow Mule is the best one I've ever tried!! What's amazing is that they make their own ginger beer from scratch so no preservatives.
The server we had was amazing too. He was very attentive and accommodating. The place also had a great atmosphere. Will definitely miss the Moscow Mules here!! -

Delicious Cobb salad. Yummy fish and chips! Gray fries!!!
Yummy (apparently award winning) gingery Moscow Mule.
Well priced. Cute atmosphere!
The only negative was that the music is a little too loud to enjoy conversation.
Will definitely be back!
